Biden Exclaims, “It’s A Great Day For America.”

It is a great day indeed. It feels like we can go back to normal, barring some scars from the past. Tomorrow when the United States of America will wake up, good news awaits them. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has announced that people who have been fully vaccinated need not wear masks in public places. The CDC also added that there is no need for fully vaccinated individuals to maintain social distancing. This news comes after the CDC has done all the surveys, and they have arrived at this conclusion.

Biden Exclaims, “It’s A Great Day For America.”

The CDC has confirmed that their conclusion is only valid for individuals who have been fully vaccinated and not for people who are either yet to be vaccinated or have taken just one shot of the double shot vaccine. It is also mandatory to wear masks after the inoculation of the second dose and wait for at least 14 days to completely give up wearing masks. This message was shared by the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, while he was addressing a press conference. He was accompanied by the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris. Harris was seen patting Biden’s back for the exemplary work the Biden Administration has done in the past few months.

Biden was seen expressing his pleasure while sharing the news with the country. He also added that the nation has gone through this rollercoaster ride together, and the end of the Pandemic is clearly visible for the country. But this will also be the time to not make mistakes. Even the President has warned against it; he said that we have come too far to make any mistakes. He advised the people who have not been completely vaccinated to take all the necessary precautions.

It was interesting to see the President and the Vice President of the United States without masks after so long. Earlier, the President had announced that almost 70% of the total American adult population would be completely vaccinated by 4th July. These claims look achievable as almost 45% of the total American adult population has already been vaccinated. Almost 59% of American adults have already received one shot of the vaccine.

It was very clear from the President’s address from the Rose Garden that people need to get vaccinated in order to go back to their normal life. Not everyone is vaccinated at the moment, so letting the guard down is not an option, so if the citizens have not been vaccinated yet, they must do it soon. The credibility of the vaccines have been challenged every now and then, but they are our best option. The days when we would not have a face mask on have been lined up for a long time. So, if the times have become favorable for that, one must not delay such an opportunity.

All these ease of restrictions were eased, eyeing the pressure put on President Joe Biden and the Biden administration. It was important to give some relaxation to the fully vaccinated population. They needed to be rewarded for completing the vaccination process.

But this can also create a problem of recognizing who is fully vaccinated and who is not. There should be a system established to know who is vaccinated and who is not; otherwise, there is a chance that a chaotic situation may prevail. Until then, the CDC has given permission to all fully vaccinated people to participate in any activity they want to, whether it is indoors or outdoors.
